Develop and lead the eCommerce strategy, managing and optimising omnichannel solutions and tactics to drive online traffic, sales and conversion, brand awareness and customer engagement aligned to overall business goals and objectives. This position demands a growth-focused mindset with the ability to leverage technology, data, and ecommerce best practices to drive the revenue growth for online channels.
- Develop and lead the ecommerce growth strategy leveraging technology, data and best- practice to drive revenue growth, conversion, customer retention and repeat purchase
- Manage website platforms and conversion optimisation, including UX, sales operations and data analytics
- Develop and execute an omnichannel strategy across the customer journey
- Partner and lead internal and external stakeholders to bring the ecommerce strategy to life including merchandising, tech/IT and sales teams.
- Collaboration with brand marketing teams to drive promotional campaigns
- Analysis and reporting on performance metrics
- A/B testing, user experience analysis, and customer journey mapping
- Analyse data and develop consumer insights on shopping trends
- Team Leadership and line management of dedicated eCommerce team
- Manage the eCommerce budget
- Work closely with demand planning and warehousing teams, developing sales forecasts based on analysis of historical data and market trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or related
- 7+ years experience in an ecommerce role, with proven track record of driving growth
- Deep understanding of ecommerce strategies, trends, technologies and analytics
- Strategic and analytical, with the ability to use data to develop insights and opportunities
- Exceptional project management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage budgets, meet target revenues and profitability
- Strong stakeholder management experience with ability to influence and drive strategic and commercial initiatives across the organisation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with geographically dispersed teams
- A forward thinking, innovative, strategic marketer who thrives on results and enjoys being hands on
- Proficiency in ecommerce platforms, analytics tools, and user experience best practices
- Platforms experience: Shopify, Google Analytics
